Toadie's Adventure

Toadie's Adventure is a Platformer made by : Felixblob  in  the game you control Toadie is special  small frog that can copy the abilities  of his enemies with the hope to defend the green islands from the emperor Ribbit.

Story

The story turns around the pacific green islands and the evil desire of Ribbit to conquer it all, that lives on Ribbit island and our hero Toadie is the one that is going to stop him.Basically that is all there is nothing more to tell actually but,the story is not the strongest point in almost every platformer
at least you can know the atmosphere where the game takes place and give the player a mission.

Gameplay

Ah, the gameplay what i can tell about it at first sight it looks mostly as a kirby game but in the end the game has his own essence, the movement is very fluid , the physics feels accurate and the limitation of only jumping 3 times instead kirby with almost unlimited air jump makes the game more challenging, by the way you wont fully recover your health after each level and if you die you will revive with only a small part of your HP.

And we have to add the unique moveset that every special power has.

Also, this game supports controllers and have a difficulty selection.

In fact the strongest point of the game i cant give a 10/10 due originality stuff BUT, i can perfectly give a :

Graphics

The  graphics in this game goes on a very colorful pixel-art style that creates a very happy atmosphere, from my point the art of this game is pretty well done its colorful but doesn´t look saturated of color its on the right point.

Audio 

The sound effects of the game are pretty good, very understable , synchronized with the actions  sadly, the soundtrack its not at a very good level the song at the first level get repetitive anyways get slighty better progressing in the game but is still lacking i know that is not that easy making songs anyways is not that bad at all.

Score : 7/10

Price/Product

This game is 100% free the game its really good overall and for free its almost a must play not getting more deep into the price analysis is clearly a 10/10.

A very good platformer, easy controls,great graphics in conclusion i reccomend this game.
